Join Ensemble Not Found for a night of the most exciting, creative and experimental new shows you can’t see anywhere else!

BOLD Scratches is a scratch night dedicated to non-conventional performance pieces. From devising to performance art to site-responsive theatre, six groups of artists will present their wildest and freshest ideas. Each group receives a week of free rehearsal space and support to create the most unhinged and exciting work they can think of, and you’ll be the first to witness it!

Afterward, join us for a community party night where you can meet the artists, mingle with other creatives and have a drink.

BOLD Scratches is part of the ‘Making It Work’ initiative, a joint project between migrant-led companies Halfpace Theatre and Ensemble Not Found. Making It Work is dedicated to providing opportunities, training and career development for migrant artists in the UK. Founded at a weeklong takeover festival at Applecart Arts in May 2023, the project has grown to encompass panels, resource archives, workshops, scratch nights, community gatherings and more across London and the wider UK. Making It Work is our way of planting the seeds for a brighter future led by migrant artists working in devised and experimental theatre.
